Winkle-Bottom is an exciting, fresh and innovative new firm of property consultants formed by Simon Welch – an experienced chartered surveyor with an affable style and valued experience in Dorset, Hampshire and London.

With an enviable track record in building surveys, contract administration, project management, party wall matters, dilapidations and expert witness reports, the firm has expertise across a broad range of sectors, including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, education, hotel/leisure and healthcare.

Not only is Simon an expert in his field, he brings with him outstanding professionalism - and as the name Winkle-Bottom suggests, there’s also a sense of freshness and fun to his approach. In fact, the name Winkle-Bottom was simply born from a determination to be different.

OUR QUALIFICATIONS

With over 20 years experience in the property sector, where ten of which have been extensively involved in Dorset, Hampshire and the surrounding counties. So, as you can expect, we've collected a lot of qualifications and awards along the way. And our director also managed a leading multi-discipline surveying practice for seven years.

We have BSc in Building Surveying, and are also members of and regulated by both, MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution Chartered Surveyors) and APMP (Association for Project Managers Professional), as well as many other industry accolades.
